The fabrics and trimmings…………. Scarlet and white checked fabric forms the main garment-a cotton blend which swings beautifully and uses the integral fringe to frame the neckline. The trimmings are wool blends. Round the armholes and at the base the trim is charcoal grey geometric; the sides are trimmed with a delicate tweed merging fushia, ice cream pink, apricot and burnt sienna, with an occasional single delicate silver thread. The lower points are secured with misty purple wool binding.
